📣❄️SCHEDULE UPDATE: On Monday, Jan. 26, all Corpus Christi ISD schools and offices will have a two-hour delay. Elementary schools will begin at 9:50 a.m. Middle and high schools will begin at 10:50 a.m. Bus schedules will also run on a two-hour delay. Unless otherwise notified by their supervisor, CCISD employees are expected to report to work on Monday two hours than their usual start time. Athletics and school activity coaches and sponsors will update their groups directly regarding any schedule changes. When evaluating changes to schedules, we place safety first as well as consider the many families whose work obligations will continue unchanged and students with insufficient access to heat and/or meals. Thank you for your patience as we monitored the weather and for sharing our concern for student and staff safety. If the weather necessitates additional changes to our schedule, we will send an updated mass notification as well as post to official district social media and share with local media outlets. Thank you.

After closely monitoring the weather forecast for this Saturday, the Corpus Christi Education Foundation has made the decision to postpone the CCEF Hearts & Minds 5K Run. The safety and well-being of our students, staff, and community participants is the foundation's top priority. Forecasted freezing temperatures and a high chance of rain could create unsafe conditions, and we believe this decision is in the best interest of everyone involved. The CCEF Hearts & Minds 5K Run has been rescheduled for Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. at Water’s Edge Park. Please stay warm and safe this weekend. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing everyone next Saturday for a fun and safe event.

🐝✨ Spelling Bee Spotlight! ✨🐝 We are so proud of every student who stepped up to compete in our spelling bee! Your courage, dedication, and commitment truly showed, and you represented Kostoryz with confidence and heart. 👏 Special congratulations to our runner-up Joseph and our champion Kash—after an incredible 48 rounds, their perseverance and focus took us all the way to crowning a winner! What an amazing display of grit and determination. A heartfelt thank you to our judges for giving their time and support: City Councilman Gil Hernandez, Mrs. Garcia, Mrs. Ware, Mrs. Fernandez, and Mrs. Christmas. We are so grateful for your partnership and encouragement of our students. Way to make us proud, Tigers! 🐾💛

📣 5th Grade Parent Update – Cunningham at South Park

Families of our 5th grade Tigers who will be attending Cunningham at South Park next year — Student Orientation is scheduled for January 27. Please see the flyer attached for more information.

Reminder 📣 GT stage 2 Kinder testing will occur this Thursday. This testing will only be for students who received a letter indicating they had moved on to the next round. Those in 1st-5th  who had completed the application by the December deadline will be tested on Friday. Thank you!
